Ordering

Q. Can I edit/cancel my order?

You can cancel your order anytime before it has been shipped. Simply email us at hello@lampdesign.shop with your order number to request a cancellation.

Q. Where is my order confirmation?

This is automatically sent to your email address when you place an order. Please check your mailbox’s spam or junk folder if it is not showing up in your main inbox. If you haven’t received your order confirmation within 24 hours, you can get in touch at hello@lampdesign.shop.


Shipping

Q. When will my order arrive?

We strive to provide accurate delivery estimates on each product page. Here's a general overview of our shipping times:

Europe: 2-5 business days

Switzerland, UK, North America: 5-7 business days

Rest of the World: 5-10 business days (Please note: Only Portable lamps are available outside of Europe.)

Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, logistical issues, or customs delays. We will notify you by email of any significant delays, at which point you have the option to cancel your order (see "Cancellations" below).

Q. How much is shipping?

You can see the shipping cost for your order at checkout, where it's calculated based on your destination and order details.

Q. What countries do you ship to?

We ship within Europe, the UK, and to select international destinations. Your order will be delivered directly to the address you provide at checkout. We'll send you a shipping confirmation email with tracking details so you can follow your package's progress. International customers are responsible for any applicable customs/import fees.

International Shipping

For deliveries outside of Europe, please be aware that only our Portable lamps are available. Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout. You are responsible for any applicable customs duties, import taxes, or other fees levied by your country. Please contact your local customs office for more information.

Q. Can I track my order?

Yes. We’ll provide updates at every stage of your order, from the moment you place it, through to despatch and delivery. In your delivery confirmation emails, you’ll receive a tracking number, which you can use to check the progress of your order online.


Return & Exchange

Q. 14-Day Return Policy (Right of Withdrawal)

We gladly accept returns within 14 days of you receiving your order. If you've changed your mind, please contact us at hello@lampdesign.shop, quoting your order number, to initiate the return process.

To ensure a full refund, please return the product in its original, unused condition, complete with all packaging and accessories. We will provide you with a pre-paid return shipping label. Please pack the item securely to prevent damage during transit. Any damage beyond what is necessary for reasonable inspection may result in a deduction from your refund. Further details on returns can be found in our Terms of Sale.

Damaged or Defective Products

Upon delivery, please inspect your package carefully. If you notice any visible damage to the packaging, report it to the carrier immediately. If you receive a damaged or incorrect product, please contact us at hello@lampdesign.shop with your order number and clear photos of the issue.

We stand behind the quality of our products. If you discover a defect within two years of delivery, please notify us as soon as possible (and no later than 30 days after discovery of the defect) by emailing hello@lampdesign.shop with your order number, a description of the defect, and supporting images. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, or normal wear and tear.

Upon receiving your claim, we will assess the issue and, at our discretion, offer one of the following solutions: repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund.

Q. Where is my refund?

Once we receive the returned product (if applicable) and verify its condition, we will process your refund within 7-10 business days. The refund will be credited back to your original payment method.

Q. My order has arrived, but it’s not as I expected. What can I do?

In the rare event that your order arrives damaged or faulty, please take photos of the product in question and email us at hello@lampdesign.shop.

If you just don’t like the product for any reason, we’ll gladly accept it back as a return in accordance to our return policy.

Q. How long does it take to return an item?

This depends on the carrier or shipping method that you choose when returning your item. Once we receive your return, we’ll notify you by email. We aim to process refunds within 3 days after receiving the item, but it can take up to 10 business days for your payment provider to process the refund into your original payment method.


Product

Q. Are your lamps cordless?

We offer two types of lamps: cordless and corded.  Our cordless lamps are battery-powered, allowing for easy portability and placement anywhere.  We ship our battery-powered lamps worldwide.  We also offer lamps with a traditional cord, but these are currently only available for purchase and shipping within Europe.

Q. How long is the light cable?

The cable is between 1.5 and 2 meters long and has a switch. The smart lamp itself is dimmable.

Q. Can I change the light bulb?

Yes, you can change the light bulb in your design lamp. However, it's important to use LED bulbs only, as other types of bulbs may emit excessive heat that could damage the product.

Q. Can I use a smart bulb?

Our lamps and cables can be used with smart bulbs. If you want to use a smart LED bulb, please leave the witch on and control the bulb with its app. If you have any questions regarding bulbs, please email us at hello@lightdesign.shop.

Q. Are your lamps dimmable?

Yes, each lamp is equipped with a dimmable LED bulb.

Q. What are Blemishes?

Our 3D printing process, while precise, can sometimes result in minor cosmetic variations. These slight imperfections, such as subtle lines or marks, are what we refer to as "Blemishes." Rest assured, these are purely surface-level and do not impact the lamp's functionality or sturdiness. We offer these items at a substantial discount, generally more than 40% off the original price. Because of their discounted nature, all blemish sales are final. We don't accept returns or exchanges on these items. Each blemished lamp is carefully inspected to guarantee that any imperfections are purely cosmetic and won't affect its performance or lifespan.

How are your products made?

We craft our unique and customizable lighting using advanced 3D printing. This innovative technology allows for on-demand production, minimizing waste and energy consumption compared to traditional manufacturing. We combine readily available 3D printers with our own custom-developed automated printing systems to deliver exceptional quality and efficiency.

Q. What materials are used in your products?

We're committed to sustainability, which is why all our 3D printed components are made from PLA (polylactic acid). This plant-based bioplastic is derived from renewable resources like corn and beets, making it a biodegradable and more environmentally friendly alternative to traditional plastics.


Sustainability

Q. What is Lampdesign.shop doing to be more environmentally friendly?

We're a small business that's passionate about minimizing our environmental footprint. We prioritize sustainability in several ways:  

  • Our 3D printing production method uses less energy than traditional manufacturing.  
  • We avoid plastic in our packaging and keep it as small as possible to reduce waste.  
  • Plus, we have a recycling program for our products.

Q. How can I responsibly dispose of your products?

We encourage responsible recycling.  Our products are designed for disassembly, allowing you to separate the components. Although PLA isn't usually accepted in curbside recycling, we have our own program.  Return your damaged or non-functional Lampdesign products to us, and we'll reward you with a $5 store credit per item.  Email hello@lampdesign.shop for details on how to recycle with us.
